MR16/GU5.3 LED Spotlights
The high power LED spotlights MR16( GU5.3) are an indoor light source, and can be used for homes, shopping centers, conference rooms, display counters lighting and decoration, usually installed in the MR16 spotlight case.
MR16 lamps( GU5.3)offer several advantages over other lamps with equivalent wattage ratings. They are typically smaller (transformers excepted), provide better beam control and offer a "better" color of light. The small size of the lamp allows designers more flexibility in placing the lamps and with the option of various beam widths, the light beam can be very specifically placed. The light output properties of the LED lamps provides a whiter light (higher color temp and higher Color Rendering Index) that enhances the color of illuminated objects.
Our MR16 LED lamps are available in two colour hues, Warm White and Cool White. Although we describe the two lamp hues as 'warm' and 'cool', the light from a Warm White lamp is similar to a standard halogen lamp. The Cool White lamps are not actually cold, they produce a pure brilliant white light, equivalent to natural daylight without any hint of 'blueness' with which older technology LED lamps have been associated.
For a standard 'halogen style' lighting effect and for general home use we advise the fitting of Warm White lamps. For a cleaner 'pure white' more modern look, or for display lighting where accurate colour reproduction is important, we advise use of the Cool White lamps.
