E14 Base 240V
E14 LED spotlights are designed to replace existing spotlights such as R50 reflectors. This means that they will simply retrofit exactly the same fitting as your existing halogen spotlight. There is no need to change power supplies, fit new electrical sockets, or indeed change anything. Simply unplug your existing spotlight and then replace it with the E14 LED spotlights in the same way that you would have put in an original halogen bulb.
These E14 LED spotlights will then illuminate in the same levels as the halogen bulb that it replaces, however, they will only be using around 10% of the power! For example, a 25 watt halogen lamp can be replaced with a 3 watt E14 LED spotlight. The directional light output of the new 3 watt E14 LED spotlights will be exactly the same as they were with the 25 watt halogen bulb. Therefore, you will not be losing out on any light or performance, yet you will be saving nearly 90% of the power required to produce that level of light. This saving is instant and is multiplied by the number of spotlights that you replace. Therefore replacing a set of ten halogen lamps that use 250 watts of power, with ten E14 LED spotlights will see your power usage drop to just 30 watts – Still less power than powering up just one single halogen bulb! You can quickly see how substantial the savings can be and why so many people are opting to swap over to LED bulbs. It requires no hassle whatsoever and is simple as changing a bulb as normal, yet the savings keep on coming every single time that you switch the lights on.
E14 LED spotlights use advanced lens optics for high performance and maximum light intensity. They feature small clusters of LED’s, normally at 1 watt each. Therefore, a 3 watt E14 LED spotlight will actually be made up of three individual light emitting diodes. The additional benefit to these E14 LED spotlights is that they are well known for their reliability and long lifespan. The average LED spotlight can easily last 15,000 to 25,000 hours with many lasting in excess of 50,000 hours and even up to 100,000 hours of use!
